Man, I'm seeing more and more people wanting to get into day trading here in Brazil. The truth is that choosing the best broker for day trading makes all the difference in the final result because costs eat up a huge amount of money if you're not paying attention.

I did a quick search and found it interesting that the options have changed quite a bit. For those just starting out, Mitrade stands out for being super simple and not charging commissions — that's rare. It offers leverage, access to forex and crypto, and even lets you test everything with a demo account. But it's only CFDs, not real stock purchases.

If you prefer B3 itself, XP and Clear Brokerage are the ones everyone uses. Clear offers zero brokerage fees on stocks, which is quite attractive for those looking to cut costs. Now, if you want something more global, Interactive Brokers provides access to international markets, but the platform is complex for beginners.

The thing is, the best brokers for day trading depend on your style: want simplicity? Mitrade or Rico. Want low costs? Mitrade or Clear. Want global markets? Interactive Brokers. Most offer demo accounts, so my advice is to test them out before putting real money in.

Leverage is tempting, but be careful — it amplifies both gains AND losses. Start small, test your strategy on the demo, and only then put your money in. What's your current broker?
