I just discovered that many traders still don't make good use of the web trader, and honestly, it's a shame. I've been using browser-based platforms for a while, and honestly, it's much more convenient than downloading apps on each device.
Basically, a web trader is your trading platform but directly in the browser, with nothing to install. It works from Chrome, Firefox, Safari, whatever you have. The biggest advantage is that you can access it from any computer without hassle. Plus, these web traders usually have everything integrated: charts, market news, indicators, all in one screen. No more opening ten different windows.
What's interesting is that modern brokers keep these web traders constantly updated, so the experience is quite smooth. I honestly use it more than the mobile app. If you work from multiple devices, the web trader saves you the trouble of syncing everything.
For those just starting out, I think the web trader is ideal. It's not complicated, has a clear interface, and many platforms offer demo accounts to practice risk-free. That way, you practice with fake money but see the actual market movements.
Do you use web traders or prefer to download the desktop app? I think the browser is much more agile, especially if you change computers frequently.
