I'm looking for regulated brokers in Mexico, and honestly, there are quite a few options now. I started researching because I wanted to invest safely and avoid scams, you know? The important thing is that they are regulated by the CNBV or have international supervision like ASIC.
Honestly, after reviewing several, Mitrade caught my attention. It’s international, regulated by ASIC, and offers CFDs with stocks, currencies, indices, and even cryptocurrencies on a single platform. The minimum deposit is very low ($20), and the spreads are floating with no commissions. They also have some pretty attractive rewards right now. But well, it depends on what you're looking for.
For those who prefer to stay local, Actinver is one of the most solid. Regulated by CNBV, variable commissions based on volume, and if you invest in their funds starting from 100k MXN, you have a chance to win up to 500k. The minimum is higher (10k MXN), but the platform is robust, and customer service is quite good.
GBM is also there, regulated by CNBV, with competitive commissions and a minimum deposit of just 1k MXN. The interesting part is that they have a robo-advisor, so if you're lazy to decide, the platform does it for you. Kuspit is more for beginners, very educational, also CNBV, and you start with just 100 MXN.
Bursanet (which is part of Actinver) offers 30 days without commissions if you deposit 10k MXN. Access to Mexican and international markets, real-time analysis tools.
The key when choosing regulated brokers in Mexico is to verify they are under CNBV or international supervision, compare commissions, check the minimum deposit according to your budget, and see if the platform has the tools you need. Fund security in segregated accounts is the top priority; that’s non-negotiable. I’m still deciding between two, but regulation is what gives me peace of mind.
