Lately I've been debating whether to go with the mainnet or L2 again, honestly it's just a back-and-forth between saving gas and a hassle-free experience. The mainnet is more expensive but offers stronger "certainty," especially when news like cross-chain bridge hacks comes up, I don't want to add an extra layer of worry; but for small daily transactions, the L2 experience is way smoother, no need to confirm every time and feel the pain.

My current compromise is: large, long-term holdings stay on the mainnet as much as possible; frequent operations stay within the same L2, avoiding cross-chain transfers if possible. And for oracles that occasionally report errors, when a bunch of people in the group shout "wait for confirmation," I accept it too, prefer to be slow rather than risking getting caught in a trap just to save two minutes.

When information noise gets too loud, I do one thing to reduce it: only look at actual on-chain flows and transactions related to my wallet, treat other "internal messages" as background noise, anyway it will pass after a sleep. That's it for now.
