Hey, I see a lot of people starting to invest now and getting lost when choosing a trading app. The truth is, there are quite a few options on the market, and the most popular one isn't always the best for your situation.
I've been following this growth of new investors since 2025 and I see that people are looking for apps that are really easy to use, with honest fees, and that don’t surprise you with hidden charges. According to some data I saw, over 5 million people entered the market in 2025, and the trend is only growing. Most of them are young people who want something practical and intuitive.
I've been testing some of the top trading apps that are trending right now. For example, Mitrade is international, offers real-time charts, and lets you practice with a demo account before investing real money. There's also Rico, which is more geared toward beginners, uses youth-friendly language, and has no brokerage fees. Toro has very good educational material, and XP grew a lot precisely because it expanded to serve individual investors, not just big ones.
Nubank also entered this game with Nu Invest, which is very accessible. Banco Inter offers an integrated app, and its diferencial is that it can handle local cryptocurrencies. And if you want to invest abroad, Avenue opens a dollar account directly.
What I’ve noticed is that there’s no such thing as a universal best trading app, you know? It depends on your profile. If you're just starting out, some are safer and more educational. If you want more features, others have more functionalities. The important thing is to check security, actual fees, and whether the app is really intuitive.
People are increasingly seeking diversification; they want to trade stocks, funds, ETFs, and cryptocurrencies. So, the apps are evolving to keep up with that. It’s becoming more competitive, which is good for the end investor.
Is anyone else using any of these apps? Which one do you think is the best?
