Recently, a bunch of "social mining/points/identity" topics have been flooding the screens again, basically using badges as carrots to lure you around. I see you guys commenting, sharing, and checking in every day just for a few points, then when the chain gets congested and gas prices spike, you spend a few bucks on a "early contributor" avatar frame... I really can't hold back anymore.

What's even more outrageous is that when there's a large transfer on the chain or a move in exchange hot and cold wallets, someone shouts "smart money is here," and then immediately starts doing tasks, increasing positions, and riding the hype. Anyway, I only follow one rule now: can it be clearly cashed out, and what are the costs (time + fees + attention)? If you can't calculate it, don't force it. Writing a small script to automate repetitive actions is fine, but draining yourself just to climb the points leaderboard? Forget it.
