Just woke up and wondering if the stock market is open today. Usually, is it around 10 a.m. or so? Because I see people trading actively in groups since morning. Then, when I looked up the actual market opening times, I was still confused because there are several complex periods.

It turns out that the Thai stock market doesn't open just once, but has a pre-open period first, then a random actual opening time. The morning session is between 9:55 and 10:00, which is uncertain. The afternoon is also similar, between 2:25 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. So, I don't really know if the market is open today and at what time.

Oh, there is actual trading from 10:00 to 12:30 in the morning, and in the afternoon from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. So, I understand that if you want to seize profit opportunities, you need to be careful because the initial opening period is very volatile. Those who follow the stock market regularly know that the opening time each day is very important. It's not just about what time it opens, but also about matching pending buy and sell orders.
