I was looking for a decent app to invest in the stock market and tested almost all the popular ones right now. Honestly, the market has changed a lot since 2025 — apps have become much more intuitive, but differences in fees and features still make a huge impact on your final profit.

What caught my attention is that it’s no longer just about having access to the stock exchange. Now, the best investing apps focus on education, predictive AI, and some even offer dollar accounts. I tested everything from the simplest options for beginners to the more robust ones for intermediates. Mitrade impressed me with its demo account (like a simulator where you practice before risking real money), zero fees, and real-time charts. Rico has a very youthful tone, Toro offers excellent educational material. XP Investimentos is more for those who already have a larger amount of money to invest.

But real talk: choosing the best app to invest in the stock market really depends on your profile. If you’re just starting out, you want something intuitive and secure. If you’re already investing, you might want more features and international access. Some people open a brokerage account just to diversify, others use it as their main platform.

What no one talks about is that security remains the biggest differentiator. All these apps have security awards, but some really stand out. And fees? They range from zero up to around R$ 4.90 per transaction depending on the app and the type of investment.

There’s been a big surge of new investing apps entering the stock market, but the classics still dominate for a reason. It’s worth spending some time testing them out before putting real money in. Do you use any of these? Which is your favorite?
