Wow, I just realized that the Thai stock market doesn’t open exactly at 10:00 like I thought. There’s a pre-open period before that from 9:30, and the opening time is also randomized, so the actual market open could be as early as 9:55 or as late as 10:00. It’s not certain.



For people who are just starting to trade stocks, this period is really important, because prices will be highly volatile and there are plenty of opportunities. In addition, there’s a morning session from 10:00 to 12:30, then the market pauses, and it opens again in the afternoon from 14:30 to 16:30 before the market closes at 16:40.

If you want to trade stocks, you need to know these times clearly; otherwise, you might miss opportunities or enter positions at the wrong time. I think stock trading requires careful consideration because trading hours are limited—not like forex, which can be traded all the time. If you still don’t understand the stock trading hours, you should study them clearly before investing for real.
