I just found out that the Thai stock market doesn't open exactly at 10:00 AM. I want to say there's a lot of hidden stuff, like during the pre-open period starting at 9:30 AM, when the system gathers buy and sell orders, and then there's a random opening time between 9:55 and 10:00 AM, where no one knows exactly when it will open.

For Thai stocks today, the actual morning trading session is from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM, followed by a market break from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM. The afternoon session opens from 2:30 PM until 4:30 PM. The market closing time also has a pre-close period and a random time, similar to the opening.

What’s interesting is that the opening period is highly volatile because there are pending orders from the previous day, combined with morning news that affects each stock. For traders, the opening and closing times are great opportunities that shouldn't be missed. 💸
