Cara, choosing a broker in Brazil is way too confusing. There's zero fee here, spread there, a chart no one understands… in the end, you get lost. The truth is, there’s no single best universal app, just the best for what you want to do. I spent some time testing and I’ll share what I found.

For those just starting out, Nubank and Inter are the easiest. Everything within the bank’s app, no fuss. But if you really want to do active trading, then things change. Mitrade is an option for those who want to trade CFDs and access more markets. For investing in Brazilian stocks specifically, XP Investimentos is more robust.

Now, there’s a detail everyone ignores: a "zero fee" platform isn’t automatically cheap. Spread, exchange rate, indirect costs on some products… you might be paying more without realizing it. It happens more often than you think.

What really matters is thinking about your style. Do you want to leave money invested for years or trade every week? Do you want to stay only in Brazil or diversify internationally? Avenue is good for those wanting US stocks, Interactive Brokers for global access. But each has its own cost.

Regarding security, you can’t ignore it. Check if the broker is registered with CVM or the Central Bank. For international platforms, verify if they are regulated by entities like ASIC. That protects your money.

The best trading platforms I tested have different features. Mitrade is good for those who want flexibility and to trade multiple markets. Nubank and Inter for beginners. XP if you want to take the Brazilian market seriously. Avenue for those interested in US stocks. Interactive Brokers if you’re more advanced and want full control.

My advice: don’t rush. Test a demo account if available, start with a small amount of money, and see which trading platform best fits your style. Each one solves a different problem. What works for your friend might not work for you.
