ETH Market Outlook - Jing Yi's Perspective
On the 4-hour chart, the moving averages are bearish and diverging downward, indicating a weak rebound in a downtrend that is oversold; KDJ is in a low position with a golden cross, MACD green bars are shrinking to an extreme, which only indicates short-term correction, and the bearish structure has not reversed.
Daily chart level: KDJ is in a low bearish zone, MACD has a death cross with green bars continuing, the daily chart has entered a mid-term correction phase, and the rebound is relatively weak.
Key Support & Resistance Levels
Short-term strong support: 2160–2150 (the recent low of this decline, breaking below opens a deeper correction space)
First resistance: 2206–2225, the first hurdle for the rebound, if not surpassed, the rebound will end directly
Mid-term strong resistance: 2275–2282, only if volume increases and it stabilizes here can ETH end the bearish correction and return to consolidation
Ultimate defensive support: 2100 integer level, a break below points to a mid-term bottom around 2000
Short-term 1–3 days: Weak correction rebound, mainly shorting on rallies
ETH is currently a technical minor rebound after a sharp decline; the 4-hour KDJ golden cross is suitable for very short-term light long positions:
Rebound reaching 2205–2225 faces resistance and stalls, go short with the trend, this is the best shorting position for this rebound;
If the pullback does not break the 2160 low, small long positions can be taken for a short-term rebound, with stops below 2150;
As long as it does not stabilize above 2230, it is defined as: rebound = opportunity for bears to enter, do not chase longs or heavily buy the dip.
Mid-term 3–7 days
Hold the 2150 support → Range-bound between 2150–2280, buy low and sell high;
If effectively broken below 2150 with increased volume → Bearish confirmation, next targets are 2100→2000, deepening the mid-term correction;
BTC stabilizes above 80,000, driving ETH to volume up and break above the 2282 daily moving average → End of correction, restart rebound to challenge the previous high of 2380.
Currently, ETH's bearish trend is clear, with the main strategy being to short on rallies, and only small oversold rebounds for short-term longs;
Short-term long positions: try small longs around 2160, stop loss at 2145, take profit at 2220;
Short-term short positions: go short directly at 2220–2230 on rebound, stop loss at 2250, targets at 2160 and 2100;
Mid-term watch point: switch to long only after stabilizing above 2280; pursue shorts if it breaks below 2150.
