Recently, I saw someone say "Smart money is here" whenever there’s a large on-chain transfer or a move in exchange hot and cold wallets... But honestly, I’m more worried about the inflation + output in the blockchain game pools. To put it simply, if the coins people withdraw have nowhere to be spent, they can only be dumped back into the pool, draining the liquidity, leaving behind a bunch of "profit numbers" for self-entertainment.
My current method to avoid impulsive orders is pretty simple: first, check that transfer address to see if it’s an internal exchange reallocation or an old address moving; then, glance at whether the blockchain game’s output is sustained by constantly issuing new coins. Many times, just taking ten minutes to stay calm makes things clear: the hype is real, but the buying reason may not be. It’s normal to get it wrong; anyway, I prefer to go slow.
