OpenAI reaches an agreement with Malta, allowing all Maltese citizens to use ChatGPT Plus

American artificial intelligence (AI) company OpenAI announced on Saturday that it has signed an agreement with the Maltese government, allowing all residents to use its ChatGPT Plus service for free for one year after completing an AI training course. The program will launch in May, and as more Maltese residents complete this free course, the service is expected to gradually expand. The plan will also be open to Maltese citizens living abroad.
