You know when you want to use AI but think it will cost a fortune? Well, that changed a lot in 2026. I found it interesting to gather the best AI website options that really work without spending anything (or almost nothing).
Starting with ChatGPT because it's practically a must. The free version now uses GPT-5 with a message limit (about 10 every 5 hours), but after that, there's an unlimited mini model that’s pretty fast. It generates text, basic images, programming, everything you expect. If you need more, Plus costs $20.
Google Gemini is Google's answer to ChatGPT and works well too. The cool thing is it pulls real-time updated data from the web and integrates with Gmail, Docs, and Drive. The free plan is good, paid plans are around 79 reais.
For those looking for something different, there's DeepSeek. This one is Chinese and surprised many with its efficiency. Unlimited use on the site, super fast for math and logic. Almost free.
Now, if you create content, Lumen5 turns text into video in minutes. There’s a limit on the free plan (about 5 videos), but it’s great for testing. Paid starts at $19.
For students and researchers, SciSpace is gold. It interprets complex scientific articles and explains everything. Unlimited explanations are free, paid plans are $10.
There's Descript for those working with podcasts or videos — edits everything via text, automatically removes noise. Free is basic, paid starts at $12.
ChatPDF is simple but super useful: upload a PDF and chat with it. No registration, unlimited conversations on the free version.
To generate realistic faces, there's 'This Person Does Not Exist.' Completely free, no paid plan. Useful for mockups and design.
Midjourney no longer has a free option, only subscription (starts at $10). But it produces very good images.
NightCafe is another for creating images with different styles. Free daily credits, paid plans start at $5.
Basically, combining ChatGPT + Gemini + DeepSeek covers text. For images, ChatGPT and NightCafe do the job. For video and productivity, Lumen5 and Descript work well. A well-chosen AI website changes the game — productivity without spending anything (or almost). Anyone can create more and better now with these tools. People using free AI are getting ahead.
