I just did a lot of research on apps for trading with little money, and honestly there are much better options than I thought. It turns out you no longer need to be a millionaire to start investing; there are several platforms that let you begin with just $5 or $20.

The one that caught my attention the most is MiTrade. It’s super minimalist, without unnecessary clutter. You can trade stocks, cryptocurrencies, gold, oil... all from a single account. The best part is that it has integrated TradingView charts and zero commissions. The minimum deposit is only $20, so it’s really accessible. It makes a lot of sense that it has reached 6 million users.

If you already have experience, AvaTrade and XM offer more advanced options. AvaTrade allows you to trade via MetaTrader 4 and 5, and has that interesting copy trading feature. XM is more aggressive with leverage up to 1000x, ideal if you know what you’re doing. Plus500 is good if you want futures and a wider variety of assets; they have about 2800 different CFDs.

For beginners, eToro is the most social. You literally copy the trades of experienced traders automatically. You don’t even need to know what you’re doing at first.

What surprised me is that all these trading apps have official regulation, competitive spreads, and demo accounts. The difference lies in whether you prefer something simple or something with more tools. It really depends on your investor profile, honestly. Before putting real money in, everyone recommends practicing first in demo mode and learning how everything works thoroughly.
