The Chairman of the Iranian Parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, Ibrahim Azizi, posted on social media on the 16th that Iran has developed a specialized mechanism for managing navigation on the designated routes of the Strait of Hormuz. The mechanism will be announced soon. Azizi stated that Iran has established this mechanism within its national sovereignty framework and based on the need to ensure the security of international trade.

"Only commercial ships cooperating with Iran and relevant parties can benefit from it. Professional services under this mechanism will charge necessary fees," Azizi wrote.
He also said that the channel will remain closed to "so-called 'Freedom Plan' implementers."
The U.S. military launched an escort operation called "Freedom Plan" on the 4th of this month, claiming to "guide" trapped ships out of the Strait of Hormuz. On the 5th, U.S. President Trump announced that the "Freedom Plan" operation would be suspended, but on the 8th, he said the U.S. might resume the "Freedom Plan" operation. $BTC
