ASML and Tata Electronics Sign Memorandum of Understanding
Mars Finance News, May 17 — Local time May 16, ASML and Tata Electronics announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding. Through this cooperation, ASML will support Tata Electronics in the construction and capacity ramp-up of a 300mm (12-inch) semiconductor wafer factory in Dholera, Gujarat. It is understood that Tata Electronics is building India’s first commercial 300mm wafer factory in Dholera, Gujarat. The facility is planned to have a total investment of $11 billion and will manufacture various semiconductor products used in automotive, mobile devices, artificial intelligence (AI), and other key fields.
