Pégard emphasized that creative activity is a fundamental human trait; AI is a tool that can accelerate, simplify, and enrich the filmmaking process, but no algorithm can replace the perspective, intention, and emotion involved in creation. She explicitly stated that the National Center for Cinema and Animation will no longer fund works without authors in the future, but this does not mean that the use of AI is prohibited in funded works.
