Hey, choosing a trading app in Brazil is really confusing. There are zero-fee options here, an international platform over there, charts everywhere... and in the end we get lost without knowing which one we should actually use.

But the truth is, there’s no best app—there’s the best one for you. It depends a lot on your style. If you want to invest long-term, you need low costs and stability. If you want to do active trading, you need fast execution and lower fees per trade. It’s completely different.

I tested several, and here’s my summary: if you’re starting from zero, Nubank and Inter are the simplest. Everything works within the bank’s app, with a clean interface and no complications. For people who want to trade Brazilian stocks with more depth, XP offers a much more robust structure. If the goal is to invest in the US, Avenue makes it quite easy. Now, if you really want to trade, with more global assets and no commission, trading apps like Mitrade show up as an interesting option. And if you’re more advanced, Interactive Brokers gives access to 150 markets with professional tools.

But there’s one detail that most people ignore: not every zero-fee broker is actually cheap. Many people choose only because of zero commission and don’t see the spread, the exchange-rate fee, and indirect costs. That can end up costing you a lot without you even realizing it.

Another point: a simple interface matters much more than it seems. An app full of charts and buttons looks professional, but in practice it only complicates things. You take longer to execute orders, increase the chance of mistakes, and often give up before you learn. For beginners, simplicity wins over a thousand functions.

And always check security. In Brazil, look for ties with CVM or Banco Central. On international platforms, check whether they have trustworthy regulation. That ensures protection for your money.

My advice: if you’re just starting out, choose from simpler trading apps and begin small. You don’t need to start with a lot. Use a demo account if it’s available. The goal at the beginning isn’t to make a lot of money—it’s to learn. After you gain experience, switch to the platform that fits your style best.
