Coin World News, the director of Germany's well-known think tank IFW Economic Research Institute, Clemens Fuest, stated in an interview that the military actions launched by the United States and Israel against Iran have impacted Germany's economic recovery process. He pointed out that Germany is a highly export-oriented economy, influenced by U.S. tariff policies, and is currently deep in an economic dilemma, with economic levels only maintaining the 2019 level, meaning the economy has been stagnant for six years. Fuest said that although Germany will not face an energy supply shortage for the time being, disruptions to shipping through the Strait of Hormuz will affect global energy stability, which in turn impacts the global industrial and supply chains, posing risks to Germany's economic recovery.
