Ledger users have started receiving fake paper messages at their home addresses.



And this surpasses phishing methods via email.

Data from the 2020 Ledger leak and a third-party leak in January 2026 are being used through Global-e to target users with fake messages claiming to be “firmware updates” and containing QR codes designed to steal recovery phrases.
