Jump Crypto's developed Solana new validator client Firedancer is gradually going live on the mainnet

Deep Tide TechFlow News, May 17 — According to CoinDesk, on May 16, the new Solana validator client Firedancer developed by Jump Crypto has quietly been running in the mainnet production environment for several months, currently producing blocks and processing tens of millions of transactions.

Firedancer founding engineer Ritchie Patel stated: “Firedancer is live in the production environment. We don’t want everyone to run it now. Upgrading half of the network nodes before a comprehensive security audit would be too reckless.”

The team is currently adopting a cautious, gradual rollout strategy, recently completing a million-dollar bug bounty security audit competition to ensure network stability. The project aims to improve Solana’s performance, resilience, and client diversity, complementing the Anza client rather than competing.
