Recently, I’ve been debating how much salt to add to the “security” pot: when your assets are still small, a hardware wallet is actually quite enough—the key is not to treat the seed phrase like a sticky note and display it on your monitor… Once the funds start “not letting me sleep,” I’d lean more toward multi-signature, because it’s not just my own slip of the hand that could tip the pot, though the hassle is honestly real: making a transfer is like cooking and washing a whole stack of dishes. I think social recovery is suitable for people with average memory who don’t want to memorize a string of words, but you have to choose a reliable “friend,” otherwise you’re just distributing the risk.

Recently, they’ve been alternating between tightening and loosening tax and compliance rules there, and expectations around deposits and withdrawals are making people even more anxious—I’d rather spend an extra half hour running a large transfer with a small test transfer first and confirming the address, just to feel at ease. For now, that’s it.
