I've been observing for a while how beginners enter the crypto market without a clear idea of where to invest. So I thought about sharing my analysis of the cryptocurrencies I consider most solid for those just starting out.

First: the market is full of traps. Pump & dump schemes, ghost projects, impossible promises. But there is a group of assets that offer something different. They have high market capitalization, are listed on all exchanges, and have enough liquidity so you don't end up trapped in extreme volatility.

Let's start with Bitcoin. It remains the digital gold of the market. Its scarcity is programmed and it has massive institutional adoption. Historically, it has outperformed the S&P 500 and gold, though with significant volatility. Today, it trades around $78.28K, although it has been at highs of $126K. For a conservative investor, it’s the foundation.

Ethereum is another pillar. The queen of smart contracts. After its scalability upgrades, it is the backbone of DeFi and tokenized real-world assets. Currently at $2.18K (all-time high was $4.95K). It offers staking with annual yields of 4-5%, which has attracted institutional investors.

Solana is interesting if you seek speed. Fast transactions, minimal costs. It has had spectacular bullish cycles but also sharp declines. Today, it’s around $86.61, well below its maximum of $293.31. It generates passive income through native staking at 5-7% annually.

Then there’s BNB. It’s the token of a major blockchain with a burn mechanism that increases value over time. It trades at $657.40, with an all-time high of $1.37K. It offers staking of 4-6% annually and has multiple passive income streams.

Ripple (XRP) established itself as a network for cross-border payments after resolving regulatory challenges. Currently at $1.42 (all-time high was $3.65). Although it doesn’t have native staking, it allows generating yield on third-party platforms from 1.5% to 8% annually.

Cardano (ADA) is for those seeking secure, scientific development. It trades at $0.26 (all-time high was $3.09). It offers liquid staking without lockups, with yields between 1.25% and 5% annually.

Chainlink (LINK) is the bridge between the real world and blockchain. Its oracles are essential for most protocols to function. It’s at $9.76 (all-time high was $52.70). It offers native staking with yields from 4.32% to 5.33% annually.

Avalanche (AVAX) is a highly scalable network gaining ground in institutional finance. It trades at $9.33 (all-time high was $144.96). Its native staking generates around 6.7% APY.

Tron (TRX) stands out as a leader in stablecoin transfers. It has constant liquidity and demand. Its yield has been volatile but consistent.

Sui (SUI) is newer but interesting. It processes multiple transactions simultaneously and scales indefinitely. It trades at $1.07 (all-time high was $5.35). It offers native staking from 1.92% to 6% depending on the validator.

So, which one to choose? It depends on your profile. If you seek security, Bitcoin and Ethereum are the pillars. If you tolerate more volatility for growth potential, Solana, BNB, or Ripple are in an intermediate position. And if you want to capture the next technological leap without fear of fluctuations, then Sui, Avalanche, or Chainlink are options.

The key is to diversify according to your risk tolerance and maintain a long-term vision. The crypto market continues to evolve, so it’s worth paying attention to how these projects develop.
