Friends, if you want to trade Thai stocks, you need to know what time the market opens and closes, or you'll definitely miss important moments.

Many people ask about this frequently. The Thai stock market has two sessions: the morning and the afternoon. The morning session opens around 10:00 AM (after the pre-open from 9:30-9:55 AM) and trades until 12:30 PM. Then, there's a short market break.

The afternoon session reopens at 2:30 PM (after the pre-open from 2:00-2:25 PM) and trades until 4:30 PM. Before closing, there's a pre-close from 4:30-4:35 PM and a random close from 4:35-4:40 PM.

What many people don't know is that the actual opening time isn't the same every day because there's a random time system that randomly opens between 9:55-10:00 AM and 2:25-2:30 PM to prevent price manipulation. The closing time isn't fixed either; it is randomly between 4:35-4:40 PM.

If you want to speculate for profit, you must definitely catch the opening period because during that time, prices are highly volatile, and a lot of news comes in, creating good opportunities for profit. But be careful of the risks as well. 💸
