Techub News reports that, according to Crypto Briefing, Jeff Yan, co-founder of the decentralized exchange Hyperliquid, recently met with U.S. policymakers to discuss including on-chain derivatives markets within the CLARITY Act regulatory framework. The meeting focused on introducing legislators to the technical mechanisms of on-chain trading, serving as an educational policy exchange. Hyperliquid established the Hyperliquid Policy Center in Washington on February 18, led by former Blockchain Association Chief Policy Officer Jake Chervinsky, aiming to serve as a bridge between DeFi trading and traditional regulatory systems. The project team stated that on-chain markets offer greater transparency compared to traditional exchanges, with all trading, order, and clearing data publicly verifiable.
