On May 14th, Tencent Cloud announced the official open source of TencentDB Agent Memory, providing short-term memory compression and long-term personalized memory capabilities for long-running agent tasks. According to reports, TencentDB Agent Memory uses technology combining “Context Offloading” and Mermaid task canvas to unload complete information to external storage, while preserving key states and execution paths with a structured task graph, allowing the agent to maintain lightweight context during long tasks, and supporting hierarchical tracing and recovery of original information. In multi-task continuous session experiments, this solution reduced token consumption by up to 61% and improved task success rates in long-task scenarios. (Daily Economic News)
