I just realized that many people are still confused about the Thai stock market opening and closing times, especially what time it ends in the evening. Actually, it's not as complicated as you think.
The Thai stock market is divided into 2 sessions: the morning session (10:00-12:30) and the afternoon session (14:30-16:30). Before each session opens, there is a pre-open period where people can see approximate prices, which also has a random opening time. As for what time the Thai market closes in the evening, the answer is around 16:30-16:40. This is the pre-close period before the market officially closes.
It's important to know that the actual opening time is not exact because there is a random time system in place, from 9:55-10:00 and 14:25-14:30, to prevent price manipulation. If you understand these times well, you won't miss the key trading periods. 💸
