I've been trying out different platforms to trade with small capital, and honestly, there are quite interesting options if you know where to look. At first, I thought you needed a lot of money to start, but it turns out nowadays anyone can get into this with small budgets.
I've tested several apps, and the best trading app I found for beginners is MiTrade, honestly. The interface is clean, there are no a thousand confusing buttons, and the best part is you can start with $20. It has integrated TradingView charts, and execution is super fast. If you're new, the demo account with $50,000 virtual funds helps you practice risk-free for 90 days.
If you already have experience and want more options, AvaTrade offers MetaTrader 4 and 5, which many traders prefer. It has a professional account if you want more leverage. Plus500 is interesting if you're looking for variety: they have over 2,800 CFDs and recently entered futures. XM is a good trading app if you master MetaTrader and want high leverage, up to 1000x, although that is high risk.
For those just starting out and wanting to learn by watching others trade, eToro has its copy trading system that works well. It’s not the best app for trading in terms of advanced tools, but it’s perfect for following experienced investors.
What I notice is that each platform has its niche. MiTrade wins in simplicity and low deposit. AvaTrade and XM are for those who already know what they’re doing. Plus500 if you want to explore futures. eToro if you prefer to learn by copying.
Before investing real money, practice on a demo. All of this involves risk, so don’t get in without understanding what you’re doing. But the good news is that finding the best trading app for your style is no longer as complicated as before.
