I just found out that the most expensive currency in the world is not the Pound or the Dollar. At first, I thought the Pound Sterling would be number one, but it turns out that the Kuwaiti Dinar is much more expensive. One Kuwaiti Dinar is worth 3.26 dollars. Just imagine.
It makes sense that Kuwait has the most expensive money because the country mainly exports oil. The economy is so stable that it makes the currency valuable. Followed by Bahrain and Oman, which are also oil-exporting countries. The Pound Sterling and Swiss Franc are still expensive, but it seems that most of the world's most expensive currencies come from countries with natural resources or strong economies.
It's interesting that having an expensive currency doesn't mean it's the safest. Some currencies are expensive, but the economy might not be stable. When holding money, you need to consider how trustworthy the country is.
