I just thoroughly researched where to trade forex, because I've always wondered about this. Actually, choosing a forex broker isn't as simple as I thought. Most brokers use MT4 or MT5, but the main differences are trading fees and the types of accounts they offer. I compared a few popular brokers and realized each has its own pros and cons.

One thing I want to clarify is that MT4/MT5 are not scams; they are just trading support software. The common issue is that beginners tend to lose money because they don't understand how leverage or risk management works. So, before you start trading forex anywhere, you should choose a reputable broker regulated by major financial authorities like ASIC or FCA.

Regarding platform options, besides MT4/MT5, there are others like Mitrade (easy to use, low fees), Thinkorswim (many analysis tools), or eToro (has copy trading features). I think choosing a broker depends on your goals—if you want to trade with little capital, go for a Mini account; if you want low spreads, choose ECN. And remember, don’t rush to deposit a large amount; try a demo first to understand how it works.

A small tip: wherever you trade forex, the most important thing is to know how to manage risk, set stop-loss orders, and not use excessive leverage. I see many people lose money not because the broker is a scam, but because of poor self-management. So, practice on a demo account first, stay updated with market knowledge, and gradually increase your capital once you gain experience.
