Carry the 5-HTTLPR (serotonin transporter gene) short variant mutation (S allele):
Individuals with the S gene have slower serotonin reuptake in brain synapses, making them more sensitive to environmental threats, stress, and negative emotions, and more prone to anxiety
Chinese people perform extremely poorly in trading markets and uncertain environments
