Go ahead. People who want to trade stocks need to know exactly what time the stock market opens because the opening time is very important. Stock prices fluctuate greatly, with pending orders from yesterday and news just coming in this morning. If you don’t know the opening and closing times, you might miss good opportunities many times and get caught up in random timing systems.

The Thai stock market is divided into two main sessions: morning and afternoon. Before the market opens (9:30-9:55 AM), the system gathers buy and sell orders. Then there is a random opening time period (9:55-10:00 AM). This is a critical point to watch because the opening time varies each day. The earliest is 9:55 AM, and the latest is 10:00 AM. After that, trading is fully open from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM. There is a lunch break from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by another afternoon session.

The afternoon starts at 2:00 PM. There is a 25-minute pre-opening period, with a random opening time between 2:25-2:30 PM, and trading runs from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM until market close. Before closing, there is a pre-close period (4:30-4:35 PM) and a random closing time period (4:35-4:40 PM), which is the last part of the day.

In fact, understanding these opening and closing times is really essential because we cannot trade all the time, only during trading hours. The market opening period today is a good time for speculation because prices are highly volatile. If you know the exact times, you won’t miss the important trading windows each day.
