Lately I've been thinking, ordinary people really don't need to pick a side and fight it out on the mainnet and L2. The mainnet is like a "mother tree," expensive but stable, and for critical operations (large transfers, permission changes, revoking authorizations), I still prefer to spend a bit more gas to do it with peace of mind; L2 is like a greenhouse, for daily rebalancing, trying new pools, small re-staking, the experience is much smoother, and if it fails, it won't hurt so much that I can't sleep.
This airdrop season is also quite funny, the task platform's anti-witch hunt is getting stricter and stricter, and the points system has directly turned the grubbing party into clocking in for work... I now prefer to simplify the process: stick to a few regular chains/protocols, don't scatter seeds everywhere. Honestly, I need to be reminded: saving gas is not the same as saving security, when you want convenience, remember to authorize less, avoid black boxes, and trim your positions when needed.
