Recently, I stumbled upon a pile of old wallet authorizations again, and it reminded me how “unlimited limits” is really as important as sleep: you can sleep without turning off the lights or locking the door, but there’s always a little thorn in your mind. A lot of protocols back then were so convenient that I just clicked “agree.” Later, the project hype faded, the frontend changed, and the team might not even be around anymore—but the permissions were still hanging there. Plainly put, it’s like leaving part of the control over your wallet out in the open to air and dry… I usually do a quick sweep of my authorizations every so often, just as casually as I check TVL. If I’m not using them, I revoke them and keep only the minimum allowance. It’s a hassle, but it’s still better than waking up one day and finding, “How did I lose/lose track of so much?” Recently, social mining and fan tokens have once again stirred attention—stirred it into mining. I’m a bit tired of the whole thing. The excitement is exciting, but basic hygiene like checking authorizations still has to be done; otherwise, the little gains might not even cover a single loss. That’s it for now.
