THORChain: Has not initiated any refund, airdrop, or compensation programs; beware of false information
Mars Finance News, May 16 — According to official sources, THORChain stated in a recent incident update that they have noticed multiple fake accounts on social media and false information regarding “refunds,” “airdrops,” and “compensation plans.” Currently, preliminary investigation results show that no user funds were lost in this incident, and THORChain is not currently conducting any refunds, airdrops, or compensation plans. Any related claims are impersonations or misleading information. THORChain said that the team is still working with THORSec and external security partners to investigate the incident and will continue to provide updates once the investigation progresses. Meanwhile, the official reminds users to obtain information only through official channels to avoid being misled by false messages. Previously, it was reported that THORChain confirmed the Asgard vault was attacked, resulting in a loss of approximately $10.7 million.
