Recently, I was looking for apps to start trading with little money, and I was surprised by how many options there are now for people without much capital. It turns out you no longer need to have thousands of dollars to get into this.
I found 5 platforms that are quite well regulated, and all of them allow small deposits. The one that caught my attention the most was MiTrade because you can literally start with $20. The interface is super clean, without much noise, and you can trade stocks, cryptocurrencies, gold, all from a single app. It has integrated TradingView charts and even gives you 50k in virtual money to practice risk-free.
Then there's AvaTrade, which is more for experienced people. It offers platforms like MetaTrader 4 and 5, over 1200 assets, and the option of professional accounts with higher leverage. The minimum deposit is $100.
Plus500 is interesting if you're looking for variety: it has over 2800 CFDs and recently opened new markets like futures. It also requires a minimum of $100.
XM is another that stands out for its extremely high leverage (up to 1000x) and offers options from micro accounts. The minimum deposit is just $5, making it quite accessible.
And eToro is the favorite among beginners because you can automatically copy what more experienced traders do. You deposit from $50 and that's it.
What I liked is that all of them are regulated by reputable agencies (ASIC, CySEC, FCA, etc.), so at least you know your money is in trustworthy hands. Each one has its strength: if you're a beginner, MiTrade is probably your best entry point because it combines simplicity with a very low minimum deposit. If you already have experience, AvaTrade or XM give you more advanced tools.
The key is that right now you can find an app to invest from $1 or a little more, practice, learn, and then start increasing. Just remember that all of this involves risk, so it's better to get well-informed and practice first with the demo account before putting in real money.
