Anduril Secures $5 Billion in Series H Funding, Valuation Reaches $61 Billion

On May 13, American defense technology company Anduril announced the completion of a $5 billion Series H funding round, achieving a post-money valuation of $61 billion. This round was led by Thrive Capital and a16z. CEO Brian Schimpf stated in a letter to investors that the company expects to reach $2.2 billion in revenue by 2025, with revenue and employee numbers nearly doubling over the past year. Anduril has delivered its first international project to the Royal Australian Navy and completed an autonomous flight demonstration for the U.S. Air Force’s unmanned combat aircraft program. The company indicated it will focus on increasing investments in high-capacity manufacturing, AI and autonomous systems, the Lattice sensor and command control platform, as well as the Arsenal-1 factory and ArsenalOS production system, to address the evolving defense demands in the context of ‘industrialized warfare’ and great power competition.
