When you eat chocolate, the puppy always stares at you eagerly.

You won't feed it because you know that would be deadly for it.
But the puppy doesn't understand and can only sadly droop its ears.
In the face of fate, aren't we just like that puppy?
When you're conflicted about why you can't get what you want, or why what you have is lost,
don't rush to blame yourself.
What you persistently pursue might be that piece of chocolate that could be fatal to you.
Some losses are not punishment but protection.
