WSJ: Gemini co-founders and other early BTC supporters are eyeing Zcash amid growing interest in privacy

According to WSJ, as BTC becomes more mainstream, some early crypto investors, including Gemini co-founders the Winklevoss brothers, are increasing their investments in ZEC, betting on private transactions. Grayscale Investments is also trying to convert Zcash Trust into an ETF to make the asset more accessible to investors. In recent weeks, ZEC has gained about 50% in a month and over 1000% in a year, although its market cap of around $8.9 billion is significantly lower than BTC’s, and the growth is linked to renewed interest in financial privacy amid increased regulation.
