I've been trying out different apps for trading with little money for a while, and honestly, there are more decent options every day. At first, I thought I needed thousands of dollars to start, but it turns out that's not the case.

MyTrade was my first approach because I saw that the minimum deposit is ridiculously low, just $20 USD. The interface is clean, almost too simple, but that's good when you're learning. It has integrated TradingView charts, so you don't lack technical analysis. The thing is, it's more for active short-term trading, not for buy-and-hold strategies.

If you already have experience, AvaTrade offers more power. It supports MetaTrader 4 and 5, has professional accounts with better leverage, and access to over 1,200 assets. The minimum deposit is higher ($100 USD), but you get more serious tools.

Plus500 surprised me with the number of assets, over 2,800 CFDs. Recently, they added futures and prediction markets, so if you're interested in exploring new things, it's worth checking out. It also requires a minimum of $100 USD.

XM is for those who want extreme leverage, up to 1:1000. It offers micro account options and very tight spreads if you choose wisely. You can start with just $5 USD, which is quite accessible.

eToro is different because it allows copy trading. Basically, you automatically copy successful traders' actions. For beginners who want to learn by watching others, it works well. Minimum $50 USD.

The reality is, choosing between these apps for trading depends on your profile. If you're a beginner and want something simple, go with MyTrade and its low initial deposit. If you know what you're doing and want more tools, AvaTrade or XM. If you're interested in exploring new markets, Plus500. And if you prefer to let others do the work, eToro.

The important thing is that before investing real money, all of them offer demo accounts. Use them. Because in the end, any trading app has risks. The difference is how much you learn before risking real money.
