A safe social environment and increasingly convenient entry and exit policies, along with continuous optimization of cultural and tourism supply and the enhancement of internationalization levels across various regions, are attracting more and more overseas tourists to China to experience its unique natural scenery, cultural customs, and changing times.

At the Tang Le Palace in Xi’an, Shaanxi Province, immersive Tang Dynasty song and dance live performances and cultural experience projects have become popular choices for inbound tourists.

In Zhouzhuang, Jiangsu Province, large inbound tour groups from multiple countries have consecutively visited, experiencing intangible cultural heritage folk customs in the ancient town and feeling the fireworks of Jiangnan and a thousand years of cultural heritage.

Several scenic spots in Sichuan are optimizing multilingual services and international payment facilities. In the first quarter, the number of inbound tourists increased by more than 50% year-on-year.

While upgrading the quality of cultural and tourism experiences, the international consumer service system is also being improved simultaneously. Beijing is building multilingual service platforms in key foreign-related commercial districts, covering more than twenty languages, equipped with professional staff and intelligent translation devices to provide one-stop services for foreign tourists, including consumption consultation, complaint handling, and dispute mediation. Yiwu, Zhejiang Province, leveraging its rich Chinese manufacturing and technological new products, has also helped a large number of overseas tourists shift from simply “traveling in China” to “shopping in China.”

Traveling in China and shopping in China are closely linked to the “Safe China” reputation. A good social security environment allows overseas tourists to travel in China with peace of mind and enjoy their trip to the fullest.
