I just found out that the stock market opening today is not at a fixed time, so I want to share with anyone new to stock trading that the Thai stock market is divided into two sessions: morning and afternoon. But before it officially opens, there is also a pre-open period.
The important period is around 9:55 to 10:00 AM when the market opens today, which is a random time, not always fixed. The morning session trades from 10:00 to 12:30, then the market takes a break. The afternoon resumes from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM, closing around 4:40 PM.
Most importantly, the market opening time today does not match every day because of the random timing system. I have to stay alert all the time, or I might miss the initial volatile period, which is the best time for speculation. Anyone who trades stocks frequently should remember the opening time well, or they will definitely miss good opportunities. 💸
