Nasdaq hasn't opened yet, but on-chain already gave Wall Street a big surprise
The most valuable thing on Wall Street isn't stocks, it's those few seconds before the market opens.
Who can set the price before the opening, who is the market leader. In the past, this power belonged only to investment banks and exchanges. Now? It’s been directly taken on-chain.
AI chip company Cerebras went public last month. Nasdaq priced it at $185, but it surged to $350 at the open. Impressive, right?
But the real players—on-chain trading platform Trade xyz—had already opened perpetual contracts for CBRS two weeks before the listing. Before the open, the price had already reached $290, $130 above the issuance price.
Nasdaq's bell hadn't rung yet, but the price was already “discovered” on-chain.
The opening price of traditional exchanges has become the on-chain price confirmation.
SpaceX is about to go public, on June 12, with a valuation of $1.75 trillion. The largest IPO in U.S. history.
Reuters even said: On-chain, this time, they will definitely race ahead again.
Elon Musk’s followers, hundreds of millions worldwide, are watching SpaceX. Nasdaq retail investors can only wait for the open. On-chain? They opened Pre-IPO contracts two weeks early, getting in first.
Wall Street folks are getting anxious. CME and ICE teamed up to complain to the CFTC, accusing Hyperliquid of market manipulation and lacking KYC.
And what happened?
Hyperliquid didn’t hide. They directly sent people flying to Washington to meet with bipartisan lawmakers, discussing compliance under the CLARITY Act framework.
From “barbarians” to “wearing suits and entering Congress proactively.”
On-chain isn’t just scraping by on the edge; it’s officially getting licensed, preparing to enter the main hall.
“Nasdaq sells ‘you can only trade with me,’ on-chain sells ‘you get in early with me.’ The former charges tolls, the latter sets the starting line.”
A week before SpaceX’s open, on-chain prices were already 20% higher than investment banks’ pricing. Do you choose on-chain or Nasdaq? #Gate广场五月交易分享 #CLARITY法案参议院通关 $BTC $ETH
