Fully exited stocks including Amazon (AMZN.O), Visa (V.N), MasterCard (MA.N), UnitedHealth (UNH.N), and others; $AMZN $VISA.NE $MA $UNH
Reduced holdings in stocks including Chevron (C.N), Bank of America (BAC.N), and others; $C $BAC
Initiated a position in Delta Air Lines (DAL.N), buying 39.8 million shares, with an estimated market value of approximately $2.65 billion. $DAL
Overall, as of the first quarter, Berkshire’s total stock holdings in U.S. stocks were valued at $26.3 billion, compared with $27.4 billion in the previous quarter.
During the quarter, it bought about $16 billion worth of stocks and sold about $24 billion, resulting in a net sale of roughly $8.15 billion. The number of holdings dropped sharply from 42 to 29, and concentration increased significantly. $BRK.A
