1. Why AI agents are a necessity for Filecoin

- Autonomous storage and payment: AI agents require on-chain storage and automatic settlement without human intervention, directly compatible with **FOC (Filecoin Onchain Cloud)**, supporting micro-payments and programmable billing.
- Verifiable data and memory: Large model training/inference logs and agent memories need to be tamper-proof and auditable; Filecoin’s proof of replication/proof of spacetime naturally match these requirements.
- Cost and scalability advantages: Decentralized storage is 30–50% cheaper than AWS/Azure, with greater capacity elasticity, suitable for AI data explosion.

5. Conclusions and key observations

AI agents are the strongest growth engine for FIL, upgrading it from a “mining token” to a universal underlying infrastructure for AI.
