The Travelers Companies, Inc. (NYSE: TRV) released its 2026 Injury Impact Report, revealing that despite declining workplace injury rates, injuries are becoming more complex and leading to longer recovery times. This trend is attributed to an aging workforce and the vulnerability of first-year employees. On average, injured workers miss 80 workdays, with older workers and new hires experiencing more severe and frequent injuries, respectively.
