House Agriculture Committee leaders Glenn Thompson and Angie Craig urged President Donald Trump to nominate a full slate of CFTC commissioners before a CLARITY Act vote. The CFTC is operating with only Chairman Michael Selig as its single commissioner. The CLARITY Act would expand the agency’s authority over virtual assets if it proceeds to the Senate.
