Just read about this Kevin Segal guy and honestly it's wild how brazen some people are. Dude's literally wanted across all 50 states for basically living a complete lie. He'd roll up to luxury hotels claiming he's loaded, drop these huge bitcoin numbers, then just... never pay. Like, Caldera House Hotel got stuck with almost 15k in unpaid bills alone. And his friend Jason actually bailed him out for 50 grand thinking Segal would pay him back half a million in crypto. Spoiler alert: that Bitcoin never existed. The whole thing is basically the 'I'm rich but my money's just tied up right now' con on steroids. Dude promised real estate deals, claimed massive crypto holdings, but couldn't actually produce anything. Just vibes and stories. Now he's facing 141 years if they catch him - that's basically life. What gets me is how many people fell for it. I guess when someone says 'bitcoin' people just assume they know what they're doing. Anyway if you see this guy, apparently he's out there somewhere dodging every state in the country. Pretty crazy that this is what passes for ambition these days.
